The Malaysia Maritime Single Window ____________________

The Malaysia Maritime Single Window (MMSW) is part of a major transformational initiative by Ministry of Transport Malaysia to bring technology and tools to integrate and bring together customer friendly the user experience, increase efficiency of the ports while fulfilling the obligation to International Maritime Organisation (IMO) 5 points objectives. At the same time, having a single common platform with international standard business processes will reduce cargo release time, cost and ease of doing business and increase competitiveness globally.

MMSW will be a one stop portal with key features of single-sign-on, single submission of maritime regulatory and port services documents and transactions, with multiple data sharing and flow capability through an end-to-end flow for a complete and streamlined maritime application. It will entail in resolving major pain points faced by the industry players such as redundancies, erroneous information due to manual processes.
